Dinner was abit pants today so i’m going to write about my breakfast.
As you can see I had 4 toasted crumpets which I got for reduced at Tescos, Crumpets are nice but I’m not gonna pay over £3 for them, 65p for a pack of 8 suits me fine.
Covered in a layer of butter, they seem to do the trick but I can’t help feeling that they just taste like a pancakes short fat brother, the Danny Devito of pancakes perhaps?
I just don’t know where crumpets come in the whole breakfast side of things. Obviously they would seem out of place in a good British fry-up and they seem abit to elegant for a continental breakfast.
In future I’m just going to let them go stale, paint a picture of Danny Devito on them and use them as a coaster for a nice cold Lager…
